Paris Haute Couture Spring 2011 Beauty Trends: Elie Saab, Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino and Yumi Katsura

Alrady posted Backstage of Chanel Haute Couture.. you like it so here are some other show make up!

Theatric beauty looks seemed to be the theme on the third day of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Well, except for Elie Saab, who by keeping things simple and pretty gave its only nod to theatrics by finding inspiration in Grace Kelly.

Jean Paul Gaultier went full force with crazy hair and "aggressive" makeup to match, Valentino showed truly milky complexions that looked a bit eerie, and Yumi Katsura paired her eclectic collection with a bold lip and big eyes. The end results were looks that could easily moonlight across town at the Moulin Rouge.

Elie Saab:
The inspiration for Elie Saab's soft, romantic beauty palette was to create an effortless look that was young and fresh -- Grace Kelly style. Hair guru Orlando Pita created wispy, braided side-slung chignons and makeup was kept simple and elegant with a flawless, dewy complexion and a natural rosy flush. A soft-tinted lip conditioner was swiped on cheeks and lips, to top the look off with a luminous sheen.

Jean Paul Gaultier:
It was all about big and bold hair backstage at Jean Paul Gaultier. Models rocked the runway in impressive, stunning creations, like mohawks mixed with cornrows mixed with finger waves and rockabilly bangs. Feathers and interesting head pieces thrown in for good measure. The designer called for an all-out punk vibe and that was achieved not only by hair, but by the "chic and aggresive" makeup compliments of Tom Pecheux. He extended the models' winged liner all the way out towards the brow bone, and finished the look with a rich, blood-red lip.

Valentino:
Things got interesting over at Valentino. Models faces were painted sheer white for a washed-out look that eeirily complemented the pale, delicate collection. Eyes and cheekbones were completely dressed in a pink shadow, that extended around and then out from the eye. Hair was a severe, center-parted and tightly slicked back, but lips were dressed in a pretty peach gloss. Just like the couture designs they strutted in, models looked pretty, but in a sort of mysterious, ethereal way.

Yumi Katsura:
Backstage at Yumi Katsura, they proved that you can't go wrong with the classic winged-tip liner and cherry red lips. Though the collection ran the gamut from stark white bridal gowns to origami-esque creations (including a lace canopy-style veil and peacock-proud head piece), that intense cat eye and bold red lip worked with everything
