John Galliano And Female Accuser Ordered To Meet At Police Station

As part of an ongoing investigation of the alleged dispute between John Galliano and a French couple, the designer has been ordered to meet with one of his accusers at a Paris police station tomorrow afternoon.Galliano will sit down with Géraldine Bloch who claims he made anti-Semitic remarks to her. Yesterday Galliano filed a defamation claim against Bloch and Philippe Virgiti, who was also involved in the skirmish. Galliano could face six months in jail and/or a fine equal to $30,942 if found guilty of insult, and the couple could face one year in jail and/or a fine equal to $62,884 if found guilty of defamation. As far as the timeline is concerned, Galliano’s lawyer Stéphane Zerbib had this to say: “They have to find out the truth. If the public prosecutor’s office decides it is an emergency case, things could go very quickly.”
