Q49 Hillier Purse

I am in LOVE with this fierce new addition to the Marc By Marc Jacobs handbag collection! The 'Q49 Hillier' Hobo is amazing, and I love it not only because of its perfection, but also because I am so happy with my previous purse purchases from the Marc By Marc Jacobs brand!
My first blog review ever was about the Marc Jacobs bag that I purchased at the beginning of this summer (Click here: Fab-YOU-lous: Marc by Marc Jacobs "Classic Q - Ukita")- Months after this purchase and blog review, I still adore this bag- I am actually wearing it today ;) It has made it through being stuffed to the brim with everything imaginable (from high heels to a laptop) and survived rainstorms and crazy weather, but has gotten more soft and gorgeous with every use! I couldn't be happier with my Classic Q Ukita purse, so I really would love to expand my Marc Jacobs collection, and this Q49 Hillier Hobo is the perfect bag to do so with!
The Q49 Hillier is similar to my Ukita, but the biggest difference is the colors available- I am obsessed with this color 'Peacock' that is available in this style! This bag's dimensions are 14"W x 12"H x 5"D, which would be a medium/large size, giving you lots of space for all of your necessities.
I adore the gold toned logo bar in the top center of this bag, which adds subtle dimension to the slouchy, beautiful, and soft leather. Another fantastic detail, as with all Marc Jacobs bags, is the inside lining- This bag's lining is especially fun, as you can see in the picture above. The Q49 Hillier has such a youthful and festive bright red star print, just adding to the amazing details of this bag. The strap is removable and adjustable, so you can wear the bag long, crossbody, or remove the long strap entirely and wear it under your arm.
This purse also comes in different colors, including 'Dangerouge', the fun color seen above. I adore this hobo: the details and design are spot on with the Marc Jacobs brand, making this bag a showstopper and necessity for every fashionista!

Want It Wednesday

After the many months of beautiful summer weather and lightweight clothing, I have to admit that I am excited for the Fall/Winter seasons so that I can switch up my wardrobe a bit- I have been perusing the endless supply of Fall/Winter coats online and found a true show-stopper and my 'Want It' item of the week- this Red Valentino Satin Twill Princess Coat.

Perfect for ALL Seasons

I am loving this Kische Open Front Cardigan that I picked up a few weeks ago at Nordstrom! It was sort of a random impulse buy, but I am always in the market for cardigans, shrugs, etc. This cardigan is perfectly fashionable, classic, and sophisticated, while also providing comfortable functional style!
I am SO glad that I purchased this- First, it is SUCH a reasonable price (only $39). It is made very well out of divine fabric- it is so comfortable and stretchy. It is very lightweight, but is long sleeve, making it PERFECT for all seasons! I am wearing it right now as I write this post hehe ;)
I personally purchased this piece in black (as seen above), but this cardigan is available in so many colors! Kische makes this amazing cardigan in black, heather oatmeal, spiced rose, heather grey melange, mulberry purple, and twilight blue. No matter what your style and fancy, you will definitely find a color that suits your personality! I am considering purchasing the spiced rose and mulberry purple colors myself because I love the black so much!

Tory Burch Sandals

I have always loved Tory Burch shoes, especially flats, as I blogged about previously (Click Here: Fab-YOU-lous: Tory Burch Reva Flats). But her flats aren't all that are fabulous, her fun summer sandals are amazing too!
I purchased the Tory Burch 'Thora' sandal in black at the end of last summer, and I absolutely adore them! I am usually anti-flip flops, unless they are classy and most importantly, NOT made of rubber- So obviously, these meet all of my rules for the perfect summer flip flop, and I would totally recommend them to Tory Burch loving fashionistas!
I have worn them a lot this summer and have found that they really wear well over time. The 'Thora' is a patent leather thong sandal that features the classic silver Tory Burch logo medallion in the center of the strap. A very fun detail, especially for Tory Burch fans, is the sandal's embossed lining with the Tory Burch brand logo- it is discreet (especially when on your foot), but adds a little extra detail to the shoe. These flip flops are stylish, classic, chic, and they will match with almost any outfit!
The only issue with these sandals is that they are quite thin (as you can see above). If you want to walk a long distance, then you should opt for a different and more supportive shoe choice for the day, as these will get uncomfortable after a long day of walking (if you still wish to wear sandals and want something super comfortable to walk in, I would recommend Jack Rogers sandals- Click here for more info: Fab-YOU-lous: Jack Rogers Navajo Sandals). To get around this thin-soled comfort issue though, I wear them out to dinner, the movies, or a girl's night- places where I know that I won't be doing a lot of walking, but still need to look stylish and fashionable! Either way, I love these shoes and they are yet another Tory Burch item that remains a staple in my summer wardrobe!

This book is like the Bible of fashion history- 'Fashion Game Book: A World History of 20th Century Fashion' by Florence Muller is a must have for fashion lovers! This book is basically a history book of fashion in the 20th century that teaches the reader about every designer who has majorly influenced an important part of fashion.
This books spans from the 1800s to present day fashion, covering designs from Paul Poiret and Madeleine Vionnet all the way through to the present day fashion icons Karl Lagerfeld and Marc Jacobs. The colorful and informative photos in the 'Fashion Game Book' will captivate you and transport you throughout the periods of different designs. This book is essential in understanding the history of fashion and the art of appearance.
It is super fun to test your fashion and designer history knowledge with sporadic interactive quizzes throughout the book- these quizzes ask you to match up designers and their muses, to arrange the Chanel No. 5 bottles in chronological order, which iconic patterns represent what brands, quotes from designers, and more!
I thought I knew a lot about fashion until I read this book and realized how much more I needed to learn- This book is the key to understanding fashion and its importance in the history of the world. I have gathered so much amazing and crucial knowledge from reading this book, and it is something that I will keep forever as a reference. You can open this book at page 1 with almost no knowledge of fashion, and close it at page 350 possessing extraordinary knowledge about fashion. I would completely recommend this book to any fashionista who loves fashion and wants to learn more- it contains an incredible plethora of valuable information.

Want It Wednesday

Gorgeous! That is all I have to say about this stunning piece by Ranjana Khan. This show-shopper Lapis Bead Bib necklace by Ranjana Khan is my fabulous 'Want It' item for the week! While perusing through Saks, my eyes got a treat when they came upon this gorgeous piece sparkling!
A rich array of chunky lapis stone beads, clear and colored bright crystals, set in brass come together in this fun necklace. The backing of the necklace is made of pure silk, allowing a comfortable and luxurious fit for the lucky wearer of this feminine and trendy necklace. I love this piece, and wish I could add it to my collection!

I Love Louboutin!

OMG- Christian Louboutin never fails to impress- These fantastic Swarovski crystal and mesh ankle boots are to die for! This shoe is from the Fall 2010 Christian Louboutin shoe collection (as was one of my previous Want It Wednesday posts, Click here: Fab-YOU-lous: Want It Wednesday). This crystal and mesh boot (seen in the picture above) is my new favorite from the collection- I swear they are just screaming 'Annie'! I adore them :)
In this collection, Christian Louboutin is getting some use out the Swarovski crystal trend by dousing many of his new styles with sparkling and shimmering crystals! The design seen above is a nude lace and Swarovski crystal hidden-platform pump- it sort of has a ballerina feminine vibe to it, which I am loving!
This shoe, another one of my favorites, featured above is a double-platform satin sandal with crisscross straps, buckle detail, and a Swarovski crystal-covered heel. Another amazing design by Louboutin!

All of these shoes are from the Fall 2010 collection, so you can only pre-order them as of now; however, I am SO looking forward to seeing them in person in stores soon- I have to try them all on!
