Sparkles Delight!

We all know how much I love my sparkles and embellishments, so my adoration of this shoe will probably be of no surprise. Embellishments (like sequins and jewels) are a hot trend for the Fall season. The REPORT 'Lem' Flat is a new design for Fall that follows this trend, but definitely stands out- this flat doesn't fail to impress.
I purchased the REPORT 'Lem' Flat a few weeks ago- I bought the black version, as seen in the picture above. It is hard to ignore the assortment of embellishments on this shoe- the toe is covered in sparkling jewels, pearls of various sizes, and multi-colored beads. The leather on this shoe is very subtle and super soft, while sporting a slight shimmery shine on the material, which is such a fabulous detail. This flat comes in an arrangement of colors including: black, purple, and pewter. I know a few fashionistas that do not like the elastic backing on shoes (Tory Burch's Reva Flat has this kind of back)- I have never minded it, and actually really like it a lot. This shoe has that elastic backing as well; however, I really appreciate it because it assures that my shoe won't fall off while I am walking (which is something that often happens with flats), but it also allows for much comfort in the shoe- it won't be too big or too small. I find the fit on these shoes to be normal, so order what you would consider to be your normal shoe size.
These flats are extremely versatile- they can be styled as a day-to-day casual look or for a fancy night on the town. These shoes have it all- the sparkle, the shine, the comfort- all for a reasonable price- how can you beat them?!

Perfect for ALL Seasons

I am loving this Kische Open Front Cardigan that I picked up a few weeks ago at Nordstrom! It was sort of a random impulse buy, but I am always in the market for cardigans, shrugs, etc. This cardigan is perfectly fashionable, classic, and sophisticated, while also providing comfortable functional style!
I am SO glad that I purchased this- First, it is SUCH a reasonable price (only $39). It is made very well out of divine fabric- it is so comfortable and stretchy. It is very lightweight, but is long sleeve, making it PERFECT for all seasons! I am wearing it right now as I write this post hehe ;)
I personally purchased this piece in black (as seen above), but this cardigan is available in so many colors! Kische makes this amazing cardigan in black, heather oatmeal, spiced rose, heather grey melange, mulberry purple, and twilight blue. No matter what your style and fancy, you will definitely find a color that suits your personality! I am considering purchasing the spiced rose and mulberry purple colors myself because I love the black so much!

Who Doesn't Love Shiny Things!?

I adore sequins, sparkles, diamonds, rhinestones, crystals, metallic, and every type of shiny embellishment out there- trust me, I own them all! I have been embracing this trend since I was born, and have been doused in shiny things ever since- I can't help it, I just always gravitate towards extra embellished fun shiny things!
Sequins have been quite a big trend for awhile now, and this Fall they are still in full style; however, the trend has evolved a little bit. This Fall, designers are still showcasing sequins, but they seem to be on the much more muted side- the sequins have a less bright shine, and more of a dull matte appearance.
My first experiment with this new muted sequin trend was with my purchase of this flounce tbd Sequin Jacket (pictured). I purchased this mesh jacket in the silver version because I thought it would fit in with my jewelry and wardrobe best (although I REALLY loved the gold color available as well). The matte sequin color is great because it adds that bit of shine without being obnoxiously too much!
This light 3/4 length sleeve mesh jacket can be dressed up or down depending on how you style it. You can pair it with some dark denim and a black tank for a chic and casual vibe. Personally, I pair this mesh jacket with a simple and plain black dress and flats for a casual look. You can also dress it up by wearing heels or a more fancy dress underneath. I think this jacket is the most perfect accessory!

Excuse Me, Do You Have the Time?

I can't stress enough the importance of wearing a watch everyday- It has become an absolute staple and a necessity in my day-to-day wardrobe! The best thing about watches is that there are so many styles and brands to choose from- from super trendy and large to classy and discreet- it would be impossible with all of the options out there to not find a watch that didn't suit your every fancy!
Whether you are a man or woman, listen to this advice- Wear a watch everyday! It is not only fashionable, but also very functional. In my future profession as a business person, wearing a watch is especially key- in a meeting you can't just whip out your cell phone to check the time (you don't want to seem rude do you?); Rather just discreetly glancing down at your wrist to check the time is key when you are at meetings or presentations and do not want to seem rude or as though you aren't paying attention by taking your cell phone out.
This love of watches all started on my 18th birthday when I got the most amazing watch of my dreams as a big present from my parents- Ever since that day I have not left my house without this watch on my wrist. I love it so much and it is so special to me- it means so much and it makes me feel super special everyday!
Just a few weeks ago though, I cheated on my favorite watch ever and bought a new one! Not because I didn't love my watch anymore (which I 1000000% still do and still wear it basically everyday), but rather because I needed a less expensive watch to take traveling with me. I also wanted something a bit less classic and sophisticated, and more youthful and trendy. This led me to purchasing this fabulous Michael Kors Twin Row Crystal Chronograph Watch. Its big face and bold crystal design is so stunning and different from my other watch, I can't help but love it!

Want It Wednesday

Holy moley!!! These boots are the definition of fierce! When I came across these Christian Louboutin Toundra Coyote-Fur Trimmed Suede Ankle Boots I died- These are so edgy and different, and they're Louboutin which makes them extra fabulously amazing, of course!
These fabulously luxurious bootie is made of suede and covered allover in coyote fur, for a completely all-out luxe look! The heel measures in at almost 5 1/2", but these shoes have a great platform (1 1/2"), making the bootie comparable to a 4" heel= easier to maneuver in. The shoe boasts a slightly pointed toe and wide leather buckle straps that peek through the fur. And as always, this fabulous Louboutin has the classic and iconic red sole.
Although it is still summer (and I love the summer, don't get me wrong), I can't help but fantasize about doing a fierce diva stomp in these heels come Fall/Winter! I am obsessed with these shoes and wish I could have them! PS- they also come in black- LOVES IT!

Want It Wednesday

I am shocked that I haven't written this post yet because this bag is my most wanted/ longest wanted item EVER. This week's 'Want It' item is none other than the timeless Hermès Birkin! *swoon*

Hermès is it for me: the most fabulous luxury brand out there no question! I absolutely adore everything Hermès creates- the craftsmanship of this leather brand is impeccable and unbeatable. A Hermès Birkin starts at around $10,000 for a standard purse. However, Birkin bags can sell for over $100,000- these bags use rare leathers (such as crocodile) and some even have been adorned with diamonds!

Literally everyone that is anyone has one (or many) of these bags. Some celebrity Hermès Birkin lovers are: Victoria Beckham (owner of one of the largest and most expensive Hermès collections in the world), Oprah, Nicole Richie, Kim Kardashian, Katie Holmes, every woman on The Real Housewives of NYC, and the list will go on forever... This bag is the epitome of sophistication, luxury and class.

I cannot wait until the day that I walk into Hermès myself and purchase my dream bag- a 35cm Blue Jean Togo Leather Hermès Birkin with Palladium hardware :) Until then, I will continue putting pennies into my Hermès Birkin fund and saving up for my dream bag, which I WILL own before I am 30 years old (goal for myself I made like 4 years ago)! Until then... I will continue dreaming of the smell of Hermès leather every night :)

Motorcycle Mama

So this is probably going to be exceptionally unexpected and random for many of you, but I love motorcycles! I have been brought up around motorcycles my entire life- riding dirt bikes myself for awhile and riding on the back of my Dad's many motorcycles over the years.

This leads me to some very exciting news- I received my motorcycle license last weekend! This is something that I have wanted to do for a very long time, and finally took the time to take this insanely intense beginner's motorcycle class (7:00am-6:30pm everyday over the weekend). At this class the instructors teach you all about motorcycles, safety, technique, and how to ride. Upon completion of this accelerated course (passing both a written and riding test) you receive your license!

So, in short, I got my license and actually purchased a motorcycle this week- It is a Yamaha V-Star motorcycle in Black Cherry (absolutely GORGEOUS color). It is the perfect beginner bike, because let's face it, I certainly do not want to kill myself and motorcycling is quite a dangerous hobby. That is why I am so glad that I completed that beginner's class- it helped me feel confident that I can handle a motorcycle and any dangerous situations that may occur (Fingers crossed that I never have to use any of these techniques that I learned).

This post is not to brag about getting my license, although I am extremely excited about it, but rather it is to inspire glamour girls everywhere to follow their passions- Just because motorcycling is considered a "guy thing" doesn't mean that a girly girl like myself can't do it too! I'm so proud to be a biker chick, sporting my pink helmet and pink gloves, riding an amazing bike, and doing something that I love- just because I am a girl, doesn't mean I can't handle the road like the guys do! So this is to inspire all those glamour girls out there to do what you want with your life- you can love motorcycles and Chanel purses, you don't have to choose. Follow your dreams and passions and always do what makes YOU happy xox

My Amazing New Bedroom!

WOW! That is all I have to say about my fabulous new room! I have never once in my life ever redecorated my room, but while I was in NYC for a month it was completely refurbished and redone and I couldn't be happier with it.

Prior to this, I had plain white walls, covered up with childhood/teenage random remnants, posters, pictures, etc. and dark pinkish burgundy carpets. It was in dire need of being redone, but no one ever wanted to do it because I have SO much stuff, and it would just be such a colossal disaster mess to move it all. But it was finally done and I couldn't be happier with the finished product!
I got my walls painted a fierce shade of pink, my carpets redone in a stone gray (castle gray as they called it- I always wanted to live in a castle lol), and a new white bed frame. I got an amazing poster for my main wall that is in a black frame- it is of a girl (who my mom said looks like me, I don't really agree that much, but I guess it sort of does) with "Glamour Girl" written in cursive above her head- how fabulous and perfect is that?!

Before I had even seen the final product of my new redesigned bedroom, I purchased four small pictures from an artist in Union Square NYC. The pictures are sketches of four separate fashionista ladies in Rome, Paris, London, and NYC. I flamed them in black frames and hung them up- they're perfect!
Reorganizing, cleaning, and redesigning my bedroom was such an amazing thing to do- I LOVE spending time in my room now that it looks the way it does! My bedroom is so fabulous and comfortable now, and just feels like a place that is all mine and made for me!

Tory Burch Reva Flats

One of my favorite brands for shoes is Tory Burch! I absolutely love all of the innovative styles, patterns, and colors that Tory Burch incorporates into her shoes. Lately, I have found myself living in her Reva flats, not only because of their perfectly chic style, but because they are so comfortable as well!
A classic Tory Burch flat that I believe every fashionista needs to have is the Black Reva Ballet Flat. It was my first fabulous Tory flat, and began my love affair with her shoes!

I have heard quite a few ladies say that the elastic on the back of the Reva flat hurts their ankle and the back of their foot, but my experience has been quite the contrary with this shoe. I think the elastic makes the flat SUPER comfortable. Another perk of the elastic back is that it doesn't allow the shoe to slip off your foot, which is a problem I have with many flats. You may want to try ordering a half size up, for extra comfort.
Tory shoes are very durable and the leather is amazing- you can tell it is a high quality shoe and that it will last. I love the shiny logo plate (usually comes in silver or gold; sometimes is a matching/complimentary color to the shoe) that is on the front of every Reva flat. It screams "TORY BURCH" to every fashionista who knows the brand, but is extremely discrete to those who do not.
Overall, these are great flats- fashionable, durable, and comfortable- and I look forward to purchasing new styles and colors of the Reva Flat from Tory Burch in my future shopping escapades!

My Most-Loved Necklace

I have always been a jewelry lover, but never in my life have I ever loved a necklace more than this one. My classic Chanel long pearl necklace with interlocking C's is my absolute FAVORITE!

I dreamed about purchasing this necklace for a very long time, and finally splurged and received it as an early Christmas present last year from my amazing parents :) I had seen countless pictures of celebrities, socialites, and fashionistas alike sporting their Chanel pearl necklaces, which only increased my love and obsession for it, and made me want it even more.

This Chanel piece is classic and timeless- pearls, I promise you, will never go out of style. The interlocking C's are not too flashy or bold, but still let you know that the necklace is Chanel. You can wear this piece long (my preferred way) or double it up and wear it short. I love wearing this necklace with a simple black dress, black tights, and black & white shoes, which totally reinforces the classic Chanel black & white look.
Whenever I put this necklace on it truly makes me feel special- it is the most beautiful necklace I own and I know that I will treasure, appreciate, and love it for the rest of my life.
